CreditVidya pioneered alternative credit scoring in India, using non-traditional data sources, AI, and machine learning to evaluate creditworthiness for the financially underserved. Founded by Rajiv Raj and Abhishek Agarwal, the platform analysed hundreds of data points to construct predictive credit scores, enabling banks and NBFCs to lend confidently to new-to-credit customers. The company was acquired by CRED in November 2022.
